•  URI Student Chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery - An on-campus group interested in all components of computing.  Projects include: hardware workshops, hosting high school programming contests, and software testing forums

• Visible Virtual Machine - a visual based, virtual computing environment which allows the student user to create

a program, and then to actually view the execution of the program within the (virtual) CPU of the VVM machine.

• University of Rhode Island Writing Center The English Department has a writing center that could be very useful to you when writing your paper for class. Check it out.

• Elements of Style - by William J. Strunk, Jr. - This is a book on basic writing style that every student should have access to.  Use it when writing your research paper.
