We are performing research in developing
Real-time CORBA and real-time object-oriented databases for ONR and NRaD
(San Diego) as part of the ONR/NRaD Distributed Hybrid Database Architecture
project.

We are supporting the Navy's Next
Generation Computing Resources program work at the NUWC which is developing
real-time extensions to the POSIX operating system standards and the SQL
database standards. We also collaborate with NUWC in specifying real-time
features of the Navy's New Attack Submarine.

TriPacific
Software
-
We have worked with TriPacific Software
in developing the OMG Realtime CORBA 1.0 Scheduling Service specification,
and an implementation of it. We are also working with TriPacific
to develop a response the the OMG's RFP for Dynamic Scheduling in RT CORBA.

Science Foundation

We have been supported by the NSF
to research real-time concurrency control algorithms for object-oriented
databases.

MITRE
-
We collaborate with MITRE in the
development of real-time CORBA and its application to AWACS systems. MITRE
applies leading edge technology to some of the most important systems in
the world, including our nation's military command and control systems
and commercial air traffic control systems.
