Objectives
An 8-hour programming marathon in C, C++, or Java, during which the
competitors must solve a number of problems of varying degree of
difficulty. |
Date and place
Saturday, 04 November 2000, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at the University of
Rhode Island
Tyler Hall, 9 Greenhouse Road.
The room number will be posted on the "Schedule
page" before the day of the competition. |

Team composition
- Each team should be composed of 2 to 4 students;
- All participants should be currently enrolled in a University or
College in the State of Rhode Island;
- A least one member of each team should be an undergraduate student.

Participation fee
$5 per participant
The T-shirt of the race costs $5 and will be available on the day of the
race. Just please let us know when you register if you wish to purchase
the T-shirt, so that we can order the proper number.
The graphics for the T-shirt of the 2000 Edition have not been finalized
yet. You can still have a look at last-year's T-shirt. |
English or français
?
The text of the problems is available both in french and in english (the
competition having originated in Québec). By default we will assume
that all teams at the URI site want the english version. If your team
prefers a french version of the problems, please let us know in
advance. |

Dinner
From 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM: Pizza and sodas will be served after the
competition. |
Prizes
Prizes will be distributed to the winners and top teams on Monday, 06
November 2000 (time and place yet to be defined). |
