Two degrees, one strong foundation
Both programs share the same core in programming, data structures, software engineering, data science, systems, and algorithms. Choose the balance of depth and flexibility that fits your plans.
The comprehensive path
An 11-course computing core, strong math and science preparation, a required internship or research capstone, and a three-course specialization in AI, Cybersecurity, or General Computer Science.

Design, build, and responsibly deploy intelligent systems: machine learning, neural networks and deep learning, big-data algorithms, and emerging topics such as large language models.

Your capstone: real work, before you graduate
Every B.S. student completes a professional internship (CSC 477) or a faculty-mentored research project (CSC 499). You’ll graduate with shipped work, professional references, and a story to tell in interviews. B.A. students are strongly encouraged to do the same.
